Dream Bike
I'm lucky enough to get to ride my dream bike! My team IsoWhey Sports SwissWellness cycling team are sponsored by Cervelo so I am fully decked out on the current model Cervelo S5 with Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 and the brand new Shimanon c40 wheels. I've always loved the Cervelo's and now I get to ride my own!
What is your favourite local ride?
My favourite local loop is a big one. I enjoy a long day on the bike and my favourite 6 hour loop takes me from Bendigo-Castlemaine-Daylesford-Ballan-Kyneton before heading back towards home. Quiet and lumpy roads which are my favourite and a long day out.
What is your current cycling goal
My current cycling goal is to become a professional. I love racing my bike and want to see how far I can go in doing what I love. A goal would definitely be to complete a grand tour.

...am usually thinking about what the next set of efforts are that I need to complete from my coach Mark Fenner of FTP Training!
How did your love of bikes come about?
My love for bikes originally came from my Dad. He did a little bit of racing when he was younger and has worked in the bike industry as a sales rep for about the last 40 years! I was always around bikes and somehow convinced my parents to let me take up cycling.
Share a cycling memory
My best memory would be when I won the Bendigo International Madison in 2014. I have gone to the Madison every year from as young as I can remember and to get the win was the best feeling! It was pretty surreal last 10 laps when you are leading the race by 1 lap with the support of a hometown was phenomenal.
I love to ride because....
I enjoy the freedom of it. I love racing my bike and that is what motivates me when I'm out training.
