Thank you!

What a year it has been at La Velocita. I just wanted to say a big thank you to all our readers and supporters for visiting the site throughout this year.

There's bigger and better things coming in 2016 that I can't wait to bring to you all!

To say it has been an experience developing La Velocita over the past year is a huge understatement. We've grown traffic to the site by over 600% since January 2015 and we're well on our way to becoming a household name amongst cyclists in Australia.

Looking back on the year we've seen some amazing rides, the Team Brevet Oppy 24 hour team time trial stands out, as does Drew's Ginn's recent 24 hour individual distance record attempt. Just amazing.

Ride's around the state with new friends has been amazing as well as working in with some of Australia's most exciting kit manufacturers.

Our recent La Velocita x Black Sheep bespoke kit was fantastic, with the kit looking amazing (even if I do say so myself) and it selling out in only a few days.

Brendan Edwards coverage of some of his epic rides and everests has no doubt got people on their bikes and out seeking new adventures and pushing limits. I'm excitied about bringing you some great articles from Glen O'Rourke, Kate Perry and Tom McQuillan in the new year.

The photography on La Velocita is some of the best out there, this is largely down to the simply stunning skills of Andrew Clifforth. We're working on a couple of projects over summer that will take vision to another level.

We've had great support from so many brands this year, Black Sheep Cycling, Shimano, Rapha, Pedla (who were the first guys to send us a kit to review), FYF Cycling, A'qto, Spin Cycle, Maap, Bodhi, Curve, Supacaz, Nexttoskin, DashVelo, Knog, Bike Bug, the team at Essendon Cyclery, Audax Australia, Irwin Oceana, Bicycle Buyer, Polar Australia, Bike France, Ride and Seek and plenty more...

We're taking a break until late January 2016, we'll be sending out some of out best articles from this year and getting ready to bring you more in the new year.

Get out there, ride, enjoy and stay safe.

Mike
