We've been riding around in a pair of these FYF Gloves for the last couple of weeks and are loving them. As with other FYF kit we've tested these gloves perform above their price point and above our expectations.
If you're after good padding these gloves's will not disappoint. They take a few rides and washes to settle down and find their shape, but once that's done you're love the protection that they offer, especially on long rides, keep down vibration from poor surfaces and keeping your hands protected. The FYF gloves are made in Italy using a nice four-way, breathable stetch fabric. There's no velcro to mess around with, a feature that we like here at La Velocita.
While the padding is on the thicker side, FYF has added mesh panels between the fingers to make sure air flow is kept up and you don't start geting soft and damp hands.
Our biggest tick for these gloves is for the finishing of the grip. It's fantastic, it does a brilliant job of sticking to your bars, at high speed or in the wet it just holds. Great.
To finish, there's a reflective strip around the thumb and the edge of the hand for increased visibility, a nice touch.
