For 2017, the Orica-Scott team has the full Scott Foil RC with that oh-so-distinctive bar/stem combo. The black and yellow paint scheme is certainly striking and there's uncompromising aggression everywhere you look. It's easy to forget the Scott Foil Premium has won Paris-Roubaix.

There's plenty of small details all over the frame with curves and bulges aimed at maximising slipperiness. There's a complex cable routing around the head tube and into the down tube. Some svelte Elite Cannibal cages hold the hydration.

The drivetrain comes courtesy of Shimano's Dura Ace 9070. There's a well worn SRM power meter giving Gerrans his wattbomb statistics. Ring combinations are the classic 52/39 up front and 11-28 at the back. You can just see the direct mount rear brake poking out under the chain stay. Wheels are the Dura-Ace C50 tubular with Continental Competition Pro LTD 25 mm.

The Syncros FOIL bar and stem combo looks fast. The logistics of getting all of the cables into the frame means it's pretty busy under the bar. The brake release barrel is particularly noticeable.

The SRM head unit is lined up nicely with the flat bars. Gerrans opts for a sprint shifter peaking out of the drops.

Unbranded Syncros saddle for the defending champ who can't be mistaken with his number 1.
